Two things stand out about Norwex Consultants: They have a heart for others. And they know how to party.
And every October those two things become more apparent than ever, when all across North America Norwex Consultants come together in support of a cause that touches many—the fight against breast cancer. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Norwex Consultants are rising up like never before to fight this devasting disease.
Breast cancer is a formidable foe: Every 15 seconds a woman is diagnosed with this form of cancer, and an estimated 1 in 8 women and 1 in 833 men will get breast cancer in their lifetime. That’s why Norwex is donating $1 to the Norwex Foundation for a Brighter Future for every Norwex Party held during October.* The goal is 50,000 parties, and the donation will be shared among four organizations devoted to defeating cancer and serving those who have it:
Cancer Hope Network provides free, one-on-one confidential support to all people (patients, family or friends) impacted by all types of cancer. They train volunteers who have faced similar experiences and match them to those in need.
The Bridge Breast Network helps patients in North Texas who lack the resources and insurance coverage for life-saving breast cancer screenings and treatments. For every dollar donated, Bridge clients receive nearly ten times that amount in medical care.
The Breast Cancer Society of Canada raises money to fund patient-focused research for the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of breast cancer.
Breast Cancer Research Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to preventing and curing breast cancer through the advancement of research.
